I've been reading about LINE music and was wondering if there are genre playlists in a similar way to Spotify, and if there were platforms that allow you to submit music? I've also read that CD's are still quite popular in Japan. It seems the Japanese music industry is pretty unique compared to a lot of parts of the world in terms of booking shows/distribution etc, I was wondering if anyone had any advice or just experiences in the music industry there. I've been listening recently to a lot of 70s/80s Japanese music and it seems there was quite an interest in Brazilian music and Exotica, and I feel that people might be interested in a project I'm involved with if there was a non spammy/advertising way to find music fans, thanks!
