As the question says, I really don't get him. He seems widely popular in the fanbase and there are people here and on cagematch that give him very high praise. Now I like the theme song and the attire of GOK but his in-ring work just leaves me very disappointed. He's had good matches with ZSJ and Jay White but that's really just about it.
I get that people think he's funny (cause he is) and he's probably a great person in real life (e.g. the pancake stuff) but other than getting MJF's endorsement he hasn't done much. I really want to like him since New Japan is my favourite promotion to watch but what am i missing with this guy?
