Using train/buses to like any place only <30mins slower than taking shinkansen? Been looking at the direct buses from narita and the to places like nagano/tochigi it all takes 1hr to 4 hours longer than just taking the bullet train from tokyo or something, apart from yokohama which I've already went once.
