Hello everyone! My girlfriend and I will be traveling to Japan from August 31st to September 8th, and we’ve put together an itinerary that covers a lot of ground. We’re ready to take on the challenge of exploring many places, including some Anime Pilgrimage spots, and anticipate walking a lot as we’ll be using public transportation.
Here’s our plan:
Day 1:

Stop by Nipponbashi Denden Town
Shopping at America-mura
Enjoying Dotonbori
Day 2:
Visit Tsutenkaku
Explore Sumiyoshi Taisha
Back to visit Shitenno-ji and Namba Yasaka Jinja
Lunch at Rice Ball "Onigiri" Gorichan
Enjoy the city view from Hep Five Ferris Wheel
Stroll through Osaka Castle
Visit Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park
Day 3:
- A full day at Universal Studios Japan
Day 4:
Transfer to Tokyo by plane
Strolling around Ueno
Day 5:
Visit Suga Shrine
Walk from Shinjuku to Harajuku
Night exploration of Shibuya
Day 6:
Morning walk at Tsukiji Market
Breakfast at Heckln
Explore Minato City
Afternoon and evening in Asakusa
Day 7:
Visit Ghibli Museum
Explore the Musashino area
Stroll around Akihabara
Day 8:

Given that this is our first trip to Japan, I’d love to get some feedback on our itinerary. Is it reasonable considering the weather and conditions in Japan during our travel dates? Any suggestions or adjustments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
