Hello. I've been living in Japan for a few years, but I'm planning for graduate school in the next year in my home country (US). How can I send my koto home? I have a specific box to mail it (230cm x 30cm x 30cm), but I'm wondering how to mail it back. When mailing it domestically, I checked with Kuroneko and the JPS, but mine is too tall. Airplane is the last option, but not the preferred as I'd like to send the koto to a friend 4-6 months ahead of me so it's one less thing to worry about. Do any of you have experience with this?
