I am planning of visiting Japan for two weeks. I will go to Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, and Tokyo. I have a gift card to GetYourGuide so I could afford to purchase the 7-day rail pass.
There are a few considerations.
I leave for my trip on Friday (it’s Monday morning). Based on others’ experiences, do I have time to order the pass?
Is it easy to use? Are there additional hidden costs I wouldn’t know about?
If it’s not worth it, just would use the gift card to take a day trip or just have a bit more flexibility in activities since I’ve already budgeted for cheaper transportation in Japan.
