Tokyo+Chubu Region Suggestions

Going to Japan with another dude from September 13th to 28th, first time for both of us. We'll be relying on trains as our mode of transportation. The trip will start in Tokyo and end in Kyoto bc we will be exchange students there. Is this plan below feasible in terms of getting around? Should we reallocate the number of days spent in a city or cross off some cities?
