My dad and I booked a dream luxury weekend trip to Tokyo all in JAL business class and will be doing a crazy 1 night stay flying in from the U.S.
While all of our flights are expertly planned (despite how brief the trip is because we need to be back in time for work), I am now trying to figure out the best ways to get to and from the airports (flying into NRT and out of HND). I also need to take the train to Tokyo Station to take a short ride to our hotel near Toranomon Hills.
Would it be a waste of money to get the JR Tokyo Rail Wide Pass for 2 travelers that will likely just stay in Tokyo, take public transportation around to go shopping and eat, and just need a way to save on airport trips? Would love to not have to make multiple purchases and reservation but also don't want to spend so much on expensive airport limousine transfer and train tickets. (coming form a guy that flew into HND/NRT twice and never left the airport. Trying to do better LOL)
