Hi everyone!
Planning my second trip to Japan and I have 3 extra nights to spare on my 20 day trip. Could use your advice as the next stop after Tokyo and before Fukuoka as everything seems great!
Scenario a: Stay in Himeji and use it as a base to also go to Onomichi for a day of cycling at the Shimanami Kaido (and getting back with the ferry).
Scenario b: Stay in Himeji, wake up the next day and go to Onomichi for the cycling, spend the night there and then go to Fukuoka for 4 nights.
Scenario c: Skip Himeji/Onomichi and spend 2-3 nights in Hiroshima before going to Fukuoka.
Scenario d: Staying in Hiroshima for 3 nights and doing Onomichi and Himeji as day trips, but we kind of rejected that already because of the back and forth public transport costs.
