Hi, I've been to Japan once before in 2013 but only spent 3 days in Tokyo and then a week skiing at Hakuba, this trip will be a bit different. Although I'm in Japan across 18 days, I arrive late and leave early so in affect it is a 16 day itinerary.
I'm 36 years old and will be travelling solo. I'll attempt to pack light and have a small back pack and carry-on travel case. I don't want to be rushed and will also try to leave some gaps to add in some spontaneous activities.
A couple of questions:
For Toyama, Takayama, Kanazawa, Omihachiman will I need to book accommodation in advance? Can I rely on finding accommodation on the day?
Should I have dinner in Hiroshima or head back to Osaka?
