I speak basic Japanese and continental trying to learn more. I have previously worked at Sumitomo as a part time worker but they recently laid off all their part time workers including me. So I went to Hello Work in Chiba City. The women said to me that they have so many jobs but wouldn’t give me any as I don’t speak Japanese. I said to them that I previously worked and understand Japanese most of it, I can write and speak basic Japanese too. The lady was rude and gave me a lecture on how I can’t work with Japanese and told me to take a placement test come alone and give the test and I wouldn’t give you job unit I approve you. My question is don’t foreigners get jobs without speaking Japanese and I wasn’t asking for some official jobs. Isn’t Hello Work supposed to help people find work.
