Hey all, I've been doing a little research on my own, but I was wondering if anyone else might be able to provide some insight.
I'm going to be attenting a coding boot camp in Tokyo starting in October, and I currently live in Nagano. My wife and I actually really like where we live, and my wife likes her job, so we don't want to fully relocate to Tokyo just for this school.
I was looking at places like LeoPalace or Village House, but a place in the city can cost upwards of ¥120,000. I was also thinking of perhaps staying somewhere further out like Honjo, and just taking the shinkansen on class days (which surprisingly still works out to be cheaper than staying in Tokyo).
I'm curious if anyone has suggestions or some inights for me – are there any disadvantages to staying outside of Tokyo and taking the train in every day? Are there better short-term stay options than LeoPalace?
Edit: Does every post get downvoted on this subreddit? lol I thought this was a pretty innocuous question…
