Hi all!
I’ve been to Japan in July and visited the standard Osaka/Kyoto/Tokyo things, but mostly indoors as it was so hot.
I’m planning a 14 day trip with a first timer in January-February.
We would like to ski in Hokkaido for 3-4 days, visit Hiroshima, explore around Mt Fuji and do the standard Tokyo stuff. Kyoto would be nice if we have the time as I loved that city. Any other winter specific regimentations? Should we have more time in Hokkaido and explore things other than skiing there?
I’m struggling to plan the order of the trip, we will be flying in and out of Tokyo.
Any tips? Should we fly to Hiroshima or do Shinkansen? If we fly, would it make more sense to do Hokkaido to Hiroshima and then Shinkansen to Tokyo?
