We're planning on visiting Japan 30
August-12 September 2025. I have planned to arrive at Mount Fuji to spend the night Yoshida Trail 5th station on Sunday September 7, the start our ascent on the morning of the 8th. We'll spend the night and finish the climb morning of the 9th, the do the descent. We have a place booked in Oshina Hakkai, then return to Tokyo for 2 nights before flying home on the 12th. Here's where my questions lie, I know Japan won't release the climbing window until next year.
This year the season ends September 10. Am I too ambitious thinking the climbing season will be close to this year's? We wanted to do the climb towards the end of our vacation in case we're super exhausted. Thoughts?
