Currently looking at tickets to Japan and debating if it is worth while flying into Haneda over Narita. The difference is a few hundred dollars more to fly into Haneda over Narita.
I've been to both airports and both times Tokyo was my first/initial destination right after landing.
However, this time around, I was thinking Tokyo would be a side stop or secondary location.
I was thinking if there were any areas nearby or around Narita that would be worthwhile checking out and I could use that few extra hundred dollars to travel/stay around there instead.
If there isn't really anything worthwhile then I will probably simply fly into Haneda.
Edit – Thanks for everyone's suggestions. Looks like the roughly better option is to simply fly into Narita regardless, since the extra travel time/effort to get to Tokyo from there over Haneda is relatively minor. It also seems like the areas nearby Narita don't have anything really worth while or notable to make it worth while to stay overnight.
