I am a big bodied dude. 5'11, 355 pounds. I visited Japan last year for two weeks in November and absolutely loved it. My feet hurt from all the walking we did, but it didn't matter, it was so much fun. We visited Tokyo Kyoto and Osaka.
Fast forward to this year, and we decided to go back. We found great cheap tickets for September 10th through October 2nd, and decided to jump on em. Now, I'm about three weeks away and starting to worry. I figured September would be fall, not summer. Everything in seeing is saying it will be HOT and HUMID. Which sounds miserable. We're doing the first third in Tokyo, second third in Kyoto, and then splitting the last third between Osaka and Tokyo.
How bad is this gonna be? I don't want to cancel a mostly non refundable trip, but if it's going to be absolutely miserable idk.
We have no issue spending a day or three in hotels or malls relaxing. Going slow and relaxing is the plan. But seeing posts about Hurricanes and Earthquakes are bad enough, but the extreme heat and heat stroke stuff is freaking me out a bit 😂
Any advice?
