I’m a 20 year old girl and i’ll be going on a solo trip to japan, has anyone done the same? is it safe? it’s also my very first time travelling alone so i’m a bit scared, another question i have is will i need to know a lot of japanese? i’ve heard that many japanese people don’t know english. where should i go? since this is my first trip, there are so many places i want to go to but i think i will be very exhausted to go to all of them so i was thinking of spending most of my time in tokyo and going to another place for 3-4 days. do you have any recommendations on where to stay in tokyo? i want to go to takeshita Street, closet child, sanrio stores, ameyoko, sanrio puroland, akihabara, mori art museum, visit a few shrines and maybe go to a few other places. i also want to try lots of food and i really want to see the snow monkeys although i’m pretty sure they aren’t in tokyo. how much do you think i would need? (not including flight or hotels) also is it possible to make friends in the little time i’ll be staying there for?
