Hello all!
I am currently going over my Japan itinerary and I would like to get some recommendations! If you know of more hidden gems please tell! Also, if you have certain tips about hotels, transportation things like that, the more the merrier.
(things I personally like that may give you an idea, Food! Anime, Clothing (vintage, retro, designer) Videogames, and nice views. I would really like to go to one of those hot spring (must be tattoo friendly)
I will be in Japan for 13 days.
Day 1-2 Tokyo
Explore – Meiji Shrine, Tokyo Tower, Pokemon Center. Shibuya Sky, team Lab planet.
Restaurant/Bars – Cona, Shibya / Azabu Note, Bar Centifolia.
Area's noted were Shibuya, Harajuku, Asakusa, and Shinjuku.
Day 3 Mt. Fuji. (Any need to knows for this?)
Day 4-5 Kyoto
Explore – Inari Shrine, kinkaku-Ji (golden pavilion) Bamboo Groove, Kiyomizu-dera, & Fuji 5 Lakes.
Things to do– Visit Gion in the evening, chance to see traditional Geisha. Nintendo museum, in Uji Area.
Restaurants – Sushi Matsumoto – Michelin Star (is this a good one) (if you know others please share!) & Thisis Shizen Cafe
Most likely stay at the Machiya.
Day 6-8 Osaka
Explore – Osaka Castle , Universal studios, Visit Nara for a day, Don Quijote Store.
Restaurants/Nightlife/Area (please give recommendations, still undecided!)
Day 9-11 Okinawa
Explore – Shurijo Castle, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium
Areas – Naha
(still looking around for other things if anyone knows spots!)
Day 12-13 Back at Tokyo
hitting places we missed or want to see again!
If you know another travel spot that might be worthwhile to visit, please let me know! if you know special places in the places i already listed, that are a good vibe/view, or something lowkey not everyone knows about, of course let me know! Any great drinking locations?
I'm trying to make this as unforgettable an experience as possible. I want to try amazing food, take amazing beautiful pictures, Just see a completely different world.
