My gf wants to come live with me overseas. Right now she is living in Japan. She told me that if she lives there on 1st Jan, she has to pay municipal taxes there for the entire year. However, she plans to fly overseas in maybe Feb. Is there a way where she doesn’t have to pay municipal tax for the entire year in Japan?
