TTRPG Scene

Hey all, I'll be moving to Okinawa within a year-ish and was wondering if anyone had experience with playing tabletop rpgs, like Dingeons and Dragons, Call of Cthulu, Cyberpunk, etc. Is thar a thing there? Do they play other games?

  1. Japan has a different set of games that are popular. D&D is a minor niche game here. Iirc either call of cthulu or another Lovecraft themed ttrpg was big though.

    Your biggest issue is language barrier. Ttrpgs are hard to play if you can’t speak well to each other or can’t understand the gm.
