(in short… am I over thinking the easiest way to start this day, in regards to peak hour trains)
I spent the arvo trying to make sense of how I can do a day trip to Kamakura, Enoshima and Bunny Senpai sites. (In December, on like a Tuesday or Wednesday)
So Shinjuku to Kamakura.
Then ride the Enoden Line doing Kamakura stuff to Hase, then to Kamakurakoko Station and to do the beach views to the island and other Bunny sites around there (and bit further west), then to Enoshima and eventually end up in Fujisawa. To home.
Whats confusing me is how to start it.
I will be starting in Shinjuku, and would like to get to get an earlier start to get the most out of the date but lack of a direct train is kinda bugging me. Cos I would ideally like to get to Tokyo Station and get the Yokosuka Line but if I was to leave at 0700, odd i am guessing that line is going to get nuts with peak hour workers? Which would make a long trip standing, getting me there at 0830. (approx 1.5hr) So therefore i would have to leave Shinjuku at like 0900, to avoid peak but I wouldnt be getting started siteseeing until like 1030.
Or would it be better to get the Odakyu line directly to Fujisawa (1.10hr) then Enoden Line to Kanawawa (adding another 45mins), then starting my day.
The plan is either get a Romance car home, or Odakyu from Fujisawa. Sadly there is no Romance car from Shinjuku at the start of a day.
