i applied for a rakuten card last year and it got turned away from me upon delivery because i didn't put my middle name on the application (my name is too long to fit) so it didn't 100% match my residence card
i just recently applied AGAIN and wrote as much of my middle name as i could enter, which left out 3 characters. it got turned away from me at the door AGAIN. after that, i called rakuten to see if they could add those 3 characters to my name, but their solution was to just erase my middle name entirely instead? i told that i've already been denied because i did that but they told me that it won't be a problem
i guess when it gets redelivered next, i'll do my best to explain that to the mail person, but i have absolutely no faith that it will actually work out and get handed to me
does anyone have experience with this? i've seen some comments on other posts saying to call them after applying to get the middle name corrected, but they didn't let me do that and just got rid of the middle name?!?!??!!? is there anything else i should do or should i trust that this will work out because i called them?
