So is it required to have a student email or ID now to buy Apple products with EDU discount in Japan? I searched online and people are saying they don't do any checks. But those posts are from a year ago. I don't know how to checkout without them forcing me to go to Unidays.
I have a friend who is a student but I don't really want to bother them if I don't have to. (I also have Unidays for a different country but it doesn't work in Japan).
