EMERGENCY WIFI

If there is an actual disaster in your area and mobile phone service is cut off, accordding to a public-private cooperative agreement, EMERGENCY WIFI network will be available free of charge, called the "FIVE ZERO JAPAN" network. A free wifi network should appear on your settings list like this "00000JAPAN". It can be accessed for free.

  2. Based on projections winds will be 45mph with gusts up to 65. Being from Texas, this is a normal thunderstorm and we just need to watch out for hail. But here in Japan, do things shut down? Was planning on taking train from Tokyo to Kyoto on Sept 2nd.

    Agreed it has slowed down over the ocean, hopefully that means it veers off course and not gets stronger before hitting land.
