I’m returning to Okinawa for a few weeks and want to take gifts for several friends. I can buy 2 oz. jars of local honey but I need to know if it’s okay to bring in as gifts. I know that I can bring in up to a kilo for personal consumption but nothing for “sale or distribution”. Would gift giving be considered distribution?
