Can I not send EUR from Sony bank to Revolut without going through the whole foreign currency remittance pain?

Hi.

Pretty stupid question for a whole post. But it beats me. And the support of Sony Bank is of course during work hours.

So I have some EUR that I have to transfer to my Japanese Revolut before the weekend. I tried to send it normally through fund transfer, but it only showed me my yen. Can't find any other way except foreign currency remittance. But I don't know if it goes there either since we are talking about a Japanese Revolut account only that I am sending EUR from Sony into the Japanese Revolut EUR account.

Does anyone know how this process works? I would prefer to send it as EUR instead of losing on the exchange fee twice to make it into JPY and then again in EUR once it reaches Reovlut. Not to mention that the whole foreign currency remittancet thing at Sony is almost made so you can't actually do it. Or not with any ease or efficiency.

If anyone has been through this, please let me know.

Thanks!
