A coworker just mentioned leaving his clothes out to dry on a rack and using the dehumidifier.
I gave it a try, and what do you know! it works!
Honestly the dryer I have is just an electric heating dryer, ventless too– so it mostly just steams the clothes and takes about 3 hours to actually dry them.
Or, I can use the dehumidifier for a fraction the energy cost (I think), and about 6 hours later basically the same result.
So… a dryer is like, almost a cubic meter of volume and space is ever at a premium. If I get rid of my dryer completely, can you think of a scenario where I might regret it…?
