As the title says, I’m in Tokyo with my dad for the next two weeks. I’ve been living in Nagasaki city for the last 6 months and while I enjoy Tokyo so far, I want to take him somewhere that is less tourist focused. Any recommendations are welcome.
My dad is attempting to try as many different Japanese foods as possible, so any smaller restaurants or local cuisines are ideal. We also are considering taking the Shinkansen to neighbouring cities. Not sure which yet. He also wants to go whiskey tasting somewhere. Not sure how that works.
