Hi everyone, will be travelling with my brother to Tokyo for a 8 day trip. We both have visit Tokyo, Japan once. Open to all kinds of advice and recommendations!
Day 1
Ueno
• Arrive Narita Airport 9am
• Travel to Ueno and have lunch there
• Visit places in Ueno such as Ueno park, Ameyoko shopping district, Niki no kashi etc
• Head back to airbnb in Edogawa city
Day 2
Oshiage, Yokohama, Kawasaki
• Early morning Oshiage to visit places such as Takagi Shrine
• about 12-1 Noon reach Yokohama and visit places such as Cup noodle museum and quick shopping
• Head to Costco in Kawasaki and stay till closing 8pm. Dinner in Kawasaki area before heading back to Airbnb
Day 3
Sangenjaya , ikebukuro
• Morning visit to gotokuji temple
• Travel and reach sangenjaya at 12 noon, explore Setagaya park, carrot tower and free roam till 4pm
• Travel to ikebukuro and visit places such as pokemon center, sunshine city
• Dinner in ikebukuro
Day 4
Akihabara, minato city
• Morning till afternoon 4pm in Akihabara
• Travel to Minato and visit Red tokyo tower for activities + Sky deck till closing time
Day 5
Kichijoji
• 9am Inokashira pond
• Visit other shops such as Kichijoji Loft, GU
• Food and shop at Daiya Shopping Arcade
• Travel to Shibuya
• Visit places such as center gai street, don quijote
Day 6
• Fuji Q highland
Day 7
Shinjuku , odaiba
• Shinjuku Suga shrine + free and easy till lunch
• Travel to Odaiba and visit Teamlab planets, Daiba 1-chome shopping street etc
Day 8
• Morning TBC
• Afternoon 3pm flight from narita airport

Do you really want to go to Takagi Shrine in Oshiage? It’s a bit far from Oshiage to Yokohama (around 1 hour travel) and there are a lot of things to see in Minatomirai area other than Cup Noodle Museum, it’s better to visit Yokohama and Kawasaki area in a day!! Minatomirai station to Kawasaki Costco takes 1 hour too.
And if you wish to visit Takagi Shrine, you can visit on Day4. Stores in Akihabara opens from 10 to 11 am, you can visit Oshiage before that!
Not much advice I could give (sorry!) but its interesting to see your itinerary almost similar as what I’m planning 😆
I have put Odaiba (teamlab planets) in Day 7 as well but I’ve been seeing a lot of comments that borderless is better and planets apparently smells like feet lol so I’m contemplating of removing it.
Costco?? Fuji q isn’t so worth it. Why no do a 2 day trip somewhere nice in the country side and enjoy nature, onsens, temples
Team lab is just out of fomo? It’s nothing special, crowded and stinks of feet and sweat on the plastic floor. Sorry Its pretty nasty
