Difficulty finding a baking oven?

Hello folks, just moved to Hiroshima area and am trying to buy various home/kitchen appliances.

I used to bake a lot of vegetables, sourdough bread, various deserts, etc. back in Europe, but since I moved here I have not been able to find a generic standard oven.

I’ve found some exceptionally expensive steam ovens with quite mixed reviews online, and I’ve now begun to wonder about these microwave ovens I see everywhere (which just kind of seem like toasters to me).

Do Japanese people not tend to bake regularly? Has anyone here had better luck finding an oven they might be able to recommend?
