I admit, the basic bitch inside this 40 year old dude loves these drinks. An extra shot of espresso helps cut some of the sweetness and makes it a lot better.
Did my time at Bux back in the day. We used to put pumpkin spice sauce in the whip cream canisters and put the Christmas blend beans in the espresso machines. Puts the actual Pumpkin Spice latte to shame and I don’t even like sweet drinks.
Any non-Americans who have tried this: what’s it like?

I gave up pining away for it ages ago and just toast and grind up some cloves, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg and put a spoon of it in my coffee with a few pumps of the toffee nut syrup. Just add a little creamer or milk and it’s got all the spice I need to be satisfying and close enough. I never really tasted the pumpkin flavor in the pumpkin spice lattes from STBX anyway, so I don’t feel as though I’m missing much.
