I have a general question about transport in Japan.
I'm a bit confused about which trains/railways I only need the Suica Card for and when I don't. I know I need an extra ticket for the Shinkansen, but then there are other trains for which I need a base fare + express ticket. There is also the Keisei Skyliner within Tokyo, which is also a "special" train for which you need an extra ticket.
My question is: is there a "rule" that I can use to see directly, for example in Google Maps, which trains I only need the Suica Card for and when this card is no longer sufficient? Many thanks!
