Asking about visa

Hello!

I am planning to go to Japan with a Thailand Education Visa. I am a foreigner studying in Thailand, and I plan to go to Japan for work purposes. I got a job offer from a restaurant in Japan just recently. So, literally, my boss is ready to hire me, but he doesn't understand anything about visa processing. And the same goes for me. I don't know much details about visa requirements to legally work in Japan. So, please, anyone who knows the process, will you kindly help me explain what I need to do and also recommend some of the agencies for me?

1) Is it possible for me to go to Japan using Education Visa of Thailand and not from Japan Embassy in my country? (If possible, I don't want to waste time going back to my country)
2) Do I need a visit visa to enter Japan? Or is there another type of visa that I need to get if I am using ED visa of Thailand?
3) When I arrive Japan, what type of visa do I need to legally work in Japan?

Some of the people said that I need a sponsor to write a letter for me so that I can enter Japan. Then, as soon as I arrive Japan, I need to apply for a refugee visa (I'm not sure if it is the correct term) to legally work in Japan. Is it correct?

Thank you so much for your help!

Oh, last but not least, do you know any agents who would be able to help me?
