I'm sure anyone in my position could do exactly what I'm doing, just as well or better. I add my own flair to my position which makes the tenure at my school unique, but aside from that, I'm doing what I'm asked to do, with some creativity on the side.
The difference? I believe I work with an exemplary JTE. He's to the point, prompt, and gives generally gives me details about his lessons well in advance, or reviews the lesson content with me if we have covered them in the past. He also gives me ample co-teaching time. I'm not sitting there being a HTR.
It's open school day and there will be 60 people watching our lesson, not including other people logging in online… I think the JTE is more stressed than I am, so this is a shout out to him.
