My wife & I are finally getting over to Japan after years of dreaming of it! It's really 17 days total, but 2 of those are mainly travel. So really 15 solid days to plan.
We'll be there February 2025. Very early in planning so far (only got the flights) so everything is very tentative/flexible.
Our priorities are food (with a couple fine dining nights mixed in), cocktail bars, seeing local history/culture, and not over-doing it.
Any feedback is very much appreciated!

- LAX > NRT
- We land in the evening so it'll be dinner time by the time we get to the hotel
Day 1 | Tokyo
- Morning: Tsujiki Fish Market
- Explore Shibuya Crossing
- Evening: Meiji Jingu/Yyogi Park
- Shibuya Sky for sunset
- Night: SG Club
Day 2 | Tokyo > Mt. Fuji
- Head to Mt. Fuji or Hakone for a Ryokan stay
Day 3 | Mt. Fuji/Hakone
- Still have to see what area exactly we'll be
- Will most likely be a pretty chill/relaxing day in between all the travel
Day 4 | Mt. Fuji/Hakone > Kyoto
- I know this is a little bit of a trip so probably not too much today
- Yamazaki Distillery Tour (hopefully)
Day 5 | Kyoto

- Find some sake

Im worried some days might be too ambitious, while others are too chill. I was trying to plan it so we stay in one area every day and not trucking back and forth across town a bunch.
