1. First time I heard about that relocation thing was in Japanese language class 15 years ago. The story has not changed one bit.

3. I believe this is the first governors’ race in ages which lines up with national politics, thanks to Shimoji being ex-Ishin. This would be interesting even if it wasn’t already one of the two highest-profile races amongst the 47 governors.
