Credit card approval

I recently applied to Olive and Epos credit cards.

I got a olive debit and SMBC account, but didn’t get approved for credit which I understood was more than likely to happen.
However I expected that I’d be approved for EPOS given their reputation to be more lax.

But it wasn’t the case.

For details, I got my Zaryu card and actually started living in Japan since the 1st of August so less than a month. I suppose that’s the reason why. My salary is more than 750 Man, so I doubt it’s salary related.

Any clue? Any idea where I could get a credit card easily ?
