EDIT: SOLVED
A friend of mine has been missing since Saturday (8/24), near Shimokitazawa. Police has checked his place twice for wellness check, the door was unlocked, AC was ON, no wallet, no phone. He is of course not replying any message and no "read" marks are on our messages.
They called the hospitals, no gaijin signaled, seems he is not in custody in any koban.
I am a bit worried, as he has some "history" with alcohol & meds (broke his foot when drunk, disappeared several times before but he was in a hospital each times..).
I just wondered how is the police checking on other police districts? Do they communicate with each other? Any chance he was picked up by a patrol and brought to another police station without the local cops knowing about that?
Next step is they are gonna check his mansion's CCTV footage and credit card's activity.
EDIT: Just had a text from a friend that he is in a hospital, at least he is alive. Thank you for your answers!
