Hi I am in Japan Sept 6-12. based in tokyo.
My friend is finishing a work trip to Japan on sept 7 and I wanted to see a baseball game with him on sept 6. Thats all I got planned so if you have some good ideas let me know, im down for whatever. Im mostly in it for the food tbh, try new things, discover new recipes, but I think that is best shared.
If you have lived in Japan for a while, Id be happy to buy you dinner at your favorite spot so I hear your stories and perspective on Japan. Id like to understand things from a locals perspective as much as possible, but seeing as this was a last minute idea and wont know enough japanese in a week … I would need your help to do so.

I was a biology major in college. But now I am in a goofy corporate job that gives me unlimited PTO.
In my free time I meditate, workout, sauna, volunteer with a YIMBY group, play with my 2 cats, watch old movies (like Kurosawa), cook a lot (mostly asian), read books (David Graeber ftw), watch baseball. Have tried to do standup but thats a tough nut to crack…
