I'm going to Japan in May. I've got a rough route laid out of landing in Tokyo, flying down south then making our way back to Tokyo via Fukuoka > Hiroshima > Osaka > Tokyo with lots of day trips in between.
The issue is, I've got 3 days left over which I don't know what to do with. Does anyone have a recommendation of how to use that time on this trip?
I was thinking of maybe flying into Naha or Kagoshima, or I could land in Fukuoka and use the 3 days somewhere else on the route back to Tokyo (I'm happy to take detours).
Any suggestions?
