A situation worsening

So i posted in this subreddit about 6 months ago but I deleted out of embarrassment.

Back then, i had noticed one of my students had purple and red marks around her neck and arms. It made me scared and I was trying to figure out what to do, because doing nothing felt horrible. But when I brought it up, everyone said SHOUGANAI. Its not my place. I’m just an ALT. The HRT already knows. There’s a plan in place to take care of it. I shouldn’t butt in. Despite my gut feelings i decided to not push it. I only mentioned it to the HRT and he seemed really annoyed that i brought it up.

Recently this same HRT has been strict and tough on the students. When i posted about that, people said if I thought him being strict and aggressive was bad, i wasn’t cut out for the job. I think being strict to set a precedent is fine, but this guy is still being really aggressive to the kids and its been two months since school started.

Anyways, the student i was concerned about before graduated and he has been aggressive to one of the new boy students in particular. The new student is really scared all the time and is constantly glancing at the HRT for approval now. Last class, i thought i saw some suspicious markings but i decided i was just being paranoid. But today I noticed the purple and red bruises under his shirt collar. I just cant help but worry about this. But clearly bringing it up to the HRT isnt an option. If none of the other teachers are in close proximity to these kids, will they not notice? Is it nothing…? I’m going to try to keep a close eye on this… because it definitely is starting to seem like something is wrong, shouganai or not
