I'll be staying in Ueno for the first time in October and I have a few questions. I usually stay at APA hotels but am getting a little concerned about the TripAdvisor reviews. Someone complains about APA Hotel Ueno Ekikita having bedbugs and someone else complains about bad smells at APA Hotel Keisei Ueno Ekimae. My questions are:
- what is the best location to be in thick of things in Ueno? I'd like to be somewhat close to the JR Station as I expect to use it a lot
- does anyone have experience with APA Hotel in Ueno?
- Does anyone have experience with Dormy Inn in Ueno?
