I am playing with the idea of moving to Japan from the US. I would be going completely solo. I see a lot of posts about the logistics and bureaucracy of living there, but I am more interested in the emotional toll of being away from your family for those of you who have moved there by yourself.
What’s it like to move to Japan and being so far away from your parents or loved ones? Personally, that’s the hardest pill I would have to swallow.
