Tokyo After New years?

Hi All,

I have heard people tell me that from 1-3rd Jan Tokyo is closed down considerably.

We are there for 2 week traveling, and Tokyo is our last top ( we fly out of Tokyo ).
Should i change my ternary to rather do something else from the 1-4th ?

or is that not the truth.
