Problems with point cards

I found a great app for storing point card barcodes and pictures of point cards. I've been using it for a few months. I've used it at Yodobashi Camera before, but today the clerk refused to scan it. She also refused to scan a picture of my Yodobashi Camera point card. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this with any of the major point card issuers.

I'm trying to make my physical wallet lighter, and I can't download certain point card apps because subscriptions prevent me from switching to the Japanese App Store.
