Thoughts on Tea Kim’s learning guide to Japanese?

I recently started using his app and I’m liking it, but I’m wondering if it’s really an effective way to learn Japanese, so any thoughts?

  1. It’s not perfect by any means, but as a crash course to get myself into reading actual native materials and learning the finer details from those? Solid enough.

  2. Good overall overview. And the fact that it’s fully downloadable as a pdf so it can be easily searched and read while offline on a phone made it very helpful for me. I read the whole thing end to end about 5 times when relearning after a long hiatus.

  3. It is classic, so it definitely wouldn’t hurt. And a bit off the question, but at the beginner level Cure Dolly is also often being recommended, so if you are eager, you can also look it up, see if it fits you
