My itinerary for 1 day kyoto is
7am: explore kiyomizudera
9am: kimono rental
10am: explore just around sannezaka then have lunch
1pm: explore temples / shrines, try snacks
5:30pm: return kimono
I rented a kimono but i learned that some temples & restaurants are not allowing people who wears kimono. Do you guys have any shrines/temples recommendations where we can go while wearing one?
Is wearing kimono allowed in eikando temple? I forgot which temple i saw that restricts wearing one.
Also, i plan to eat dinner in kyoto on a friday. I was checking restaurants but most are packed. Do you have recommendations we can dine in for 2pax?
Edit: I wanna try any local cuisine except for sushi (sorry, i'm still not good at eating raw). Is it possible to find one at 6pm w/ no 2hrs wait in shimogyo ward or i better try other areas?
