I’ll be going to Japan in about a month and I’ve heard recently about the stamps they give you in various places. Im definitely going to bring a notebook with me for these, but I’ve tried googling for more information and I’ve seen things like “some temples won’t stamp your notebook if you have eki stamps in it” and “Buddhist and Shinto shrines may refuse to stamp your notebook if you have stamps from the other religion in it” so from anyone who knows or has been there, how many notebooks do I realistically need to bring to avoid “cross-contamination” or being denied a stamp? Do they actually do that?
