Kinder Kids International and Global Indian International schools

Hello!

I've been teaching in eikaiwa schools in Japan for three years. Recently I got offers from Kinder Kid International School and Global Indian International School, and I'm torn between the two.

KKIS seems to be a nice medium-sized company with experienced educators setting the curriculum, while GIIS is an IB school. I want to keep growing as an educator – with KKIS I believe I can develop further in class management and teaching techniques, while with GIIS I can learn more about the IB system (I like the philosophy behind it but I didn't study or teach it before).

Reviews on both schools are mixed, which is not surprising, and I've done quite a bit of reading up on the English teaching scene here so I don't have rose-tinted glasses. But I'm hoping to understand both schools and their cultures more, so I'd be grateful if current or former teachers could share their experiences. I would love to hear from parents too.

I read some negative experiences from teachers about KKIS in Nagoya, what about the schools in Osaka and Hyogo Prefecture?

Teaching reviews on GIIS are mostly hidden behind "contributors' wall" on Glassdoor and Indeed. There are also more negative reviews from parents on Google maps. The most worrying one was using parents' ID to write good reviews, but it could be just a really disgruntled parent…

Thank you all in advance!
