Hi! I will be moving to Japan for a performance contract, but I just found out about the strict laws regarding swords, even replica ones. There's not a lot of info on Google about my unique circumstance though.
Is it possible to get a permit for it at the airport if it's for my work in Japan ? It's not sharp at all, but it is steel. (It's also not a Japanese sword.)
Should I try to bring it at all? Is there anything I can do in advance? (If they say no, they cut it up right?)
